Just as many businesses and organizations have been profoundly affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, so has the Las Cruces Symphony.
We have been exploring every available option to ensure the long-term sustainability of the institution. Considering our current challenges, postponing all scheduled concert activity through the end of 2020 is the best course of action to ensure the Symphony can continue serving our community in the long run.
Without the ability to perform for the public, we are unable to generate essential operating revenue. Until we have certainty that our economy can remain open and audiences are ready and able to return to large public gatherings, we are not able to resume concerts.
We are currently producing an upcoming online commemorative fundraising event that includes the history of the LCSO over the last 20 years. It will include past performances, interviews and history during the tenure of our conductor, Lonnie Klein. It will be posted here when ready sometime in November and you may purchase a commemorative DVD.
Our best wishes go out to our patrons, sponsors and supporters.
