Support The LCSO

The Las Cruces Symphony Association is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization. To carry out our mission, the support of forward-thinking individuals and businesses that recognize the value of the arts in our community is essential.

Ticket sales cover approximately 50% of our annual operating costs, therefore, we rely on the generosity of the community to keep our Orchestra strong. Please consider all the ways you can make a difference and support our efforts.

Become a Patron! Become a season subscriber and enjoy benefits such as discounts, guaranteed seating, concert exchanges and tax benefits for released seats if you are unable to attend a performance.

Release Your Tickets For Resale! If you are unable to attend a performance please consider releasing your tickets for resale. Simply call the Symphony office, 575-646-3709, to release your tickets so we may offer them to other patrons.

Join the Guild! The Guild of the Las Cruces Symphony Association helps raise money for the Orchestra’s Educational Outreach programs. Annual dues are $35.

Contribute to the Annual Fund! Your gift, no matter how large or small, is truly appreciated.

Sponsor a Concert or Underwrite a Guest Artist! We are grateful to the people who have contributed money, either individually or through two consortia, to help underwrite the costs of musician pay, guest artist fees and music rental. If you are interested in becoming a contributing member of either the M.U.S.I.C. (Members Underwriting Symphony In Community) group, or the Circle of Symphony Friends, please contact Debra Marks, Executive Director of the LCSA, at 646-3374 for more information.

A new opportunity for individual giving is through the Thomas Tate Memorial Endowed Donor Advised Fund. Recently established by Donna Tate under the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico, this fund is in honor of Tom Tate, a longtime supporter of the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra. Money from the fund will be used to support the Orchestra through student musician scholarships for musical summer camps and auditions, continuing education for orchestra musicians, and the commissioning of new works. For information on the Thomas Tate Memorial Fund, please contact the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico, 521-4794.
