President's MessageFrom the Board President:
It is my honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 2011-2012 season of the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra. Thanks to the guiding insight, commitment, and efforts of our outstanding Maestro, musicians, Guild Members, staff, board of directors, and volunteers this season is sure to delight. As I enter my first year as president of the board of the LCSA I am truly humbled by the support, dedication, and kindness of the many other persons who make the level of artistic excellence of the LCSO possible. Las Cruces has reason to be proud of of its orchestra. Thank you all.
None of what we do could possible without the commitment and generosity of our patrons, sponsors, donors, corporate partners, and program advertisers. On behalf of the board of directors and orchestra I wish to thank each and every one of you. Orchestras and other artistic institutions across the country have faced a very difficult and challenging environment these last few years. I am pleased to report that because of your generosity our orchestra remains strong, stable, and vibrant. With your continued support the legacy of excellence the Las Cruces Symphony delivers will enrich our community for many years to come.
I wish to personally thank our premier musicians for their exceptional talent and dedication to rendering world-class performances year after year. Without you, and the sterling musical direction of Maestro Klein, the superb musical and cultural nourishment we enjoy would not be possible.
Whether behind the scenes, onstage, or in the audience, the board appreciates every participant who makes our concerts possible and thanks you all for your devotion to cultivating and preserving a rich aesthetic opportunity for the Las Cruces community. We hope you enjoy each and every event this season.
James
