The Las Cruces Symphony Endowment Fund was created during the
1994-1995 season to encourage special gifts and bequests. Since
its inception, the Endowment Fund has received an enthusiastic response
from both private and public sectors. This support has established
a solid financial basis, allowing the Endowment Fund to move forward
in achieving its long-term goals for the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra.
* Endowment Fund When you contribute to the Las Cruces Symphony
Association Endowment Fund you are making a direct and unique
investment in both the current operation of the Orchestra and
the future financial security of the Association and the music
education it supports. The Endowment Fund, managed by the Association's
Board of Directors through an investment committee, provides a
source of income and capital to further the mission of the Association
and the Orchestra though a strategy of long-term investment goals.
To preserve and extend the high-quality Orchestra performances
and music education programs for generations to come--the Endowment
Fund is a way of making it so!
* Use of the Fund The Endowment Fund consists of individual
gifts and funds from planned and estate giving. The Association
by-laws allow for part of the interest earned annually by the
Fund to be used for current operations. Fund investment growth
is reinvested to enhance future earnings.
